FAQ
01. THE ART & THE PRINTS
What are PHER PRINTS?
PHER PRINTS is a contemporary fine art print collection featuring original artworks by Berlin-based artist David Pher.
Every print originates from a physical painting and is reproduced using professional giclée printing, archival pigment inks and carefully selected matte art paper.
The collection is artist-led, with David Pher overseeing the selection and presentation of the works.
What am I buying?
A fine art print reproduced from an original painting by David Pher.
Each print is made to order and supplied unframed, with a white border and the artist's name and artwork title printed discreetly beneath the image.
Are PHER PRINTS signed or limited edition?
The current collection consists of open edition fine art prints, with no fixed limit on the number of copies produced.
Prints are not individually signed or numbered and do not include a Certificate of Authenticity. The artist's name and artwork title are part of the printed design.
Any future limited or special editions will be clearly identified.
Is the artwork AI-generated?
No. Every artwork in the collection originates from a physical painting created by David Pher.
AI may be used for room previews and website presentation, but never to generate the artworks themselves.
What is the difference between a fine art print and a poster?
The term "poster" does not define a particular standard of paper or printing quality.
Our fine art prints are produced using professional giclée printing, archival pigment inks and 200 gsm Enhanced Matte Art paper. These specifications allow for precise detail, rich colour reproduction and long-lasting print quality.
02. PAPER, SIZE & PRESENTATION
What paper is used for PHER PRINTS?
All prints are produced on 200 gsm Enhanced Matte Art paper, selected after comparing physical print samples in the studio.
The paper has a smooth surface, a white tone and a matte finish without distracting reflections. It is particularly suited to reproducing vivid colours, subtle tonal variations and fine details.
What is giclée printing?
Giclée is a professional inkjet printing process used for high-quality fine art reproductions.
Our prints are produced using archival pigment inks on matte art paper to reproduce the colours, composition and visible details of the original paintings.
Can I see the texture of the original painting?
Yes. Brushstrokes, charcoal marks, painted layers and other surface details captured in the original artwork remain visible within the printed image.
The print itself has a smooth paper surface and does not recreate the physical relief of raised paint.
What print sizes are available?
The collection offers selected sizes to suit different artworks and spaces.
Available dimensions depend on the proportions and composition of each original painting. You can choose from the sizes offered on each product page.
Do the fine art prints have a white border?
Yes. Every print includes a white border, with the artist's name and artwork title printed discreetly beneath the image.
Border proportions may vary depending on the artwork and selected print size.
Are PHER PRINTS available framed?
All prints are currently sold unframed, allowing you to choose a frame that suits your interior and personal preferences.
Frames shown in product photographs or room previews are for presentation purposes only.
Will the printed colours match the original artwork?
We aim to reproduce the colours and details of each original painting as accurately as possible.
Slight differences between the print and what you see on screen are normal. Screen settings, display technology and lighting conditions all influence colour perception.
How should I care for my fine art print?
Handle your print with clean, dry hands, preferably by its edges.
If delivered rolled, unpack it carefully without bending or folding the paper.
For long-term display, we recommend framing with acid-free materials and keeping the print away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive humidity and heat.
03. PRODUCTION & WORLDWIDE SHIPPING
Where are PHER PRINTS produced?
Each print is made to order by a specialist fine art printing partner using carefully selected materials and consistent production standards.
Whenever possible, prints are produced at facilities closer to their destination, including locations in Europe, the UK and the US.
This helps reduce shipping distances, unnecessary international transport and associated environmental impact.
Do you ship fine art prints internationally?
Yes. We ship internationally to a wide range of destinations.
Delivery is unavailable to countries or regions where applicable trade sanctions, shipping restrictions or carrier limitations prevent fulfilment.
Available shipping options and costs are displayed at checkout.
How long does production and shipping take?
Each print is made to order. Production generally takes 3–5 working days before dispatch.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination. Estimated shipping times are provided in our Shipping Policy.
International shipments may occasionally experience customs or carrier delays.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email.
Tracking details are provided whenever the selected delivery service supports them.
How are fine art prints packaged for shipping?
Every print is carefully packaged to protect it during transport.
Packaging may vary depending on the print size and production location. Prints are never folded.
Are customs duties or import taxes included?
Where possible, we use production facilities closer to the delivery destination to reduce international shipping and potential customs charges.
However, import duties, local taxes and customs handling fees may apply depending on your country.
Unless explicitly stated at checkout, these charges are the buyer's responsibility.
If a shipment is returned because customs charges remain unpaid or required clearance information has not been provided, resulting costs may be charged to the buyer where permitted by applicable law.
04. ORDERS & PAYMENTS
Which payment methods are accepted?
Available payment methods depend on your country and are displayed securely at checkout.
